Congential eye abnormalities with Bulldogs?

Someone I know recently purchased 4 Bulldog females, 3 are littermates and 1 is a half sibling to the others. The 3 are around 2 1/2 years old. My question is about eyes in this breed. Are there any congenital eye problems with this breed that could be causing these symptoms in the dogs? All have what appear to be lesions on the eyes. They look like the color of a cataract would but raised on top of the eye itself. The one that I just saw, I know can not see by her behavior. She has this in both eyes, but the one eye also has a growth coming off the eye the size of a raisin right now. It is the same color as the lesion on the eye, light bluish looking cloudy. It almost looks like what a dog with Pannus can get, but I am not sure if it is Pannus or not. She is taking them in to a vet opthamologist. 3 of them have already had repair for cherry eye. There does not seem to be a problem with entropian with this one girl. Just weird.
