To young for a religion?

OK recently I have been reading some questions on here and reading other places about people converting their religion and such and almost everyone is saying maybe if you were older but now just listen to your parents, and also I've seen you can consider your self..... so and so because you are not old enough. How can you not be old enough to realize what you believe in and if you don't want to live a lie why are you not old enough to practice it. Its just like saying if you were born Christan your not allowed to go to church because you are not old enough, but that's not the case, how come? How can you be to young? Can someone please explain this to me? I'm 16 and have recently (3 or 4 months) discovered wicca I have decided to fully dedicate my time to researching the wiccan way. My dad completely supports me, but I'm I still to young? I just don't see how you can be to young?
